However, findings regarding long-term abstinence vary across reviews. It is also necessary to distinguish evidence on the effects of exercise from evidence regarding what physical education and exercise professionals know, recommend, and do in practice. To map the evidence on the knowledge, attitudes, perceptions, recommendations, practices, referrals, training, and barriers or facilitators of physical education and exercise professionals when providing care to people who use tobacco or are attempting to quit smoking. The review will follow the Joanna Briggs Institute methodology for scoping reviews. The question and eligibility criteria will be structured using the PCC mnemonic (population, concept, and context). MEDLINE/PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, SPORTDiscus, CINAHL, SciELO, and LILACS/BVS will be searched, alongside grey literature and official documents. No restrictions will be applied regarding language, year, or setting. Two reviewers will independently perform record selection and data charting. The results will be presented using descriptive frequencies, tables, evidence maps, and descriptive categorization. The protocol for this review was publicly registered on the Open Science Framework (OSF). The review will characterize how the literature addresses the role of physical education teachers and exercise professionals in physical activity counseling, cessation support, and referral to specialized services. Using artificial intelligence as a research collaborator and drawing on established scholarship from Bart Ehrman, Elaine Pagels, James Tabor, and others, C. Rich builds a case chapter by chapter that the Christianity most people inherited is not the movement Jesus led, but the movement that survived after the people who knew him were destroyed.\n\n\nThe book's spine is the Gospel of Thomas, the only document that contains Jesus's actual words, buried around 367 CE and recovered from the Egyptian desert in 1945. From that anchor, C. Rich traces exactly how the original signal was replaced: how the Jerusalem church led by James, Jesus's own brother and his designated successor in Thomas Saying 12, was broken by the Roman destruction of Jerusalem in 70 CE; how Paul, a man who never met Jesus in the flesh, became the theological architect of the religion that survived; how Marcion, a man who was excommunicated, accidentally forced the creation of the biblical canon by proposing the first one; and how Irenaeus, in 180 CE, locked in four gospels and declared everything else heresy, specifically targeting Thomas and its communities.\n\n\nC. Rich does not stop at theology. Part Five of the book lays out the comparative religion record in plain language: virgin birth narratives from Isis and Horus (Egypt, approximately 3000 BCE), Attis (Phrygia, approximately 1200 BCE), and Dionysus; resurrection frameworks from Inanna, Osiris, and Tammuz that predate Christianity by thousands of years; the December 25 solar festival inherited from Roman and Egyptian traditions; and the Sunday Sabbath mandated not by Jesus but by a Roman emperor in 321 CE. These are not fringe claims but the established findings of comparative religion, presented here as a unified indictment of how a Jewish rabbi's teaching was fitted into a pre-existing template of Mediterranean solar theology.\n\n\nThe book closes by tracing the Thomas teaching's underground survival: through Hermeticism, Neoplatonism, and Arabic mystical transmission, into European Renaissance hermeticism, through Swedenborg and Phineas Quimby, all the way to the modern Law of Attraction movement. The interior Kingdom teaching of Thomas Saying 3 became, filtered through two thousand years and stripped of its Jewish roots, the self-help industry's central promise. Same root, C. Rich observes, very different fruit.\n\n\nThe Jesus Files is not an attack on faith. It is a precise, structured account of who Jesus actually was, what he actually said, who erased it, how they did it, and where what was buried eventually surfaced. The monks who hid the Nag Hammadi codices rather than burn them were preservationists, not heretics. Sixteen hundred years later, a farmer found the jar. C.
