The insect's sound level spans from very loud Bombus terrestris, to inaudible to human ears Aphidoletes aphidimyza. The samples were extracted from more than 1000 h of recordings made in an anechoic box with a four-channel low-noise measurement microphone array. Each sample is a four-channel wave-file of 2500 ms length, at 16 kHz sample rate and 32 bit resolution. Acoustic insect recognition holds great potential to form the basis of a digital insect sensor. Such sensors are desperately needed to automate pest monitoring and ecological monitoring. With its significant size and high-quality recordings, InsectSound1000 can be used to train data-hungry deep learning models. Used to pre-train models, it can also be leveraged to enable the development of acoustic insect recognition systems on different hardware or for different insects. Ammonia measurements, based on the principle of a mass balance in dynamic chambers are performed under thoroughly controlled and replicative conditions. Caract’Air was designed to be as close as possible to field conditions (in situ soil cores) while optimizing ambient conditions (temperature, air humidity and soil water content) and exchange conditions (flow rate, head volume, air circulation conditions) (Génermont et al., 2021; Décuq et al., 2023). A variety of EOMs are represented ranging from historic livestock effluents and manure to emerging biowastes produced by human urban and agro-industrial activities, all these biowastes having undergone a variety of treatments: raw, separated, composted, anaerobically stored slurries, farm yard manure, sewage sludges, municipal and domestic wastes; various digestats from mechanization; urine based fertilizers; etc. The types and origins of the EOM are reported. The physico-chemical properties of the EOM as well as soils on which the EOM were applied are detailed, leading to 20 and 30 parameters accompanied by information on analytical methods. The dataset covers a study area which comprehends the territories of EU 46 extended from Greenland in the west to the Urals in the east, including Turkey and parts of North African countries to cover the entire Mediterranean shoreline.\n\nFor each metric, we compiled climate change data based on nine combinations of three climate scenarios (SSP1-2.6, SSP3-7.0, SSP5-8.5) and three Earth System Models (ESMs): GFDL-ESM4, UKESM1-0-LL, and MPI-ESM1-2-HR. We used annual precipitation (pr, bio12) and mean annual temperature (tas, bio1) to represent overall climatic risk. Climatic variables were retrieved from CHELSA V2.1 (Karger et al. 2017, 2021).\n\nThe dataset is divided into subfolders for each metric. Each folder contains results for each ESM and their ensemble results for each SSP-RCP scenario. The main aims of this work are to produce a current land cover map of northern Madagascar with a high spatial resolution and, at the same time, to make the generation scripts freely accessible to all interested parties, enabling easy updates,  and improvement. Four classes were defined: forest, soil, non-forest vegetation, water. Spectral indices \u0026 covariates enhance classification. Random Forest algorithm employed with sample-based evaluation. The 10 meters land cover classification achieved an overall accuracy of 96% and a precision of approximately 93%. While broadly aligning with field observations (1994-2023), the model lacks the precision to distinguish various forest types due to insufficient field data. atoms represent one of the most fundamental forms of molecular chirality. Despite decades of research, certain atomic assemblies remain unknown as single enantiomers, such as tetra heterosubstituted methanes. Herein, a one-step strategy to chiral all-oxygen spiro adducts is reported. Using enantioselective dynamic chromatography, a remarkable barrier of enantiomerization is determined (DeltaG‡298 up to 27.6 kcal/mol). Single enantiomers are afforded by chiral stationary phase high-performance liquid chromatography. A cryptochiral character (gabs ~10-5) is revealed by electronic circular dichroism analysis affording nevertheless robust absolute configuration assignment by TDDFT calculations. Crystalline diastereomeric structures made from rigid pinane skeletons confirm the structural and configurational assignments. Our study highlights that tetraoxa carbon (stereo)centers are readily made and isolated, and constitute possible targets for new (asymmetric) functional group
