This paper asks a simple question: why has a technology capable of 600 km/h consistently failed to spread, and what would actually need to change for that to happen? I work through the physics of electromagnetic and electrodynamic suspension, the fact that aerodynamic power scales with the cube of velocity (which turns out to matter more than almost anything else), the precision and materials demands of guideway construction, and the economics of weighing capital cost against ridership. Maglev beats conventional high-speed rail (HSR) on energy efficiency by roughly 30 to 40 percent above 330 km/h, but it costs three to five times more to build, so only a narrow set of extremely high-volume routes can ever pay that back. I then look at why Japan, China, Germany, and the United States have ended up in such different places despite starting from similar technology. The pattern that emerges has less to do with engineering capacity than with population density, how a country funds infrastructure, and whether its institutions can hold a commitment together for decades. The paper closes by looking at high-temperature superconductors, AI-optimized control systems, and modular guideway construction, and asks where any of that might actually matter, focusing on corridors like Singapore–Kuala Lumpur and the Pearl River Delta.","lang":"eng"}],"geoLocations":[],"fundingReferences":[],"url":"https://osf.io/64fy8/","contentUrl":null,"metadataVersion":0,"schemaVersion":"http://datacite.org/schema/kernel-4","source":"mds","isActive":true,"state":"findable","reason":null,"viewCount":0,"downloadCount":0,"referenceCount":0,"citationCount":0,"partCount":0,"partOfCount":0,"versionCount":0,"versionOfCount":0,"created":"2026-07-14T03:42:34Z","registered":"2026-07-14T03:42:35Z","published":null,"updated":"2026-07-14T03:42:35Z"},"relationships":{"client":{"data":{"id":"cos.osf","type":"clients"}}}},{"id":"10.17605/osf.io/vd3q6","type":"dois","attributes":{"doi":"10.17605/osf.io/vd3q6","identifiers":[{"identifier":"https://osf.io/vd3q6","identifierType":"URL"}],"creators":[{"nameType":"Personal","name":"Donald framework for investigating how effective geometric structures may emerge from organized quantum vacuum dynamics.\n\nThe theory studies vacuum states as admissible dynamical objects represented within an operator framework, where spectral organization, stability, and asymptotic structure provide the basis for reconstructing effective geometric descriptions.\n\nQVGT is positioned as a specialized development within the broader Spectral Variational Dynamics (SVD) framework. While SVD establishes the general mathematical pathway from variational dynamics, structural selection, and spectral organization toward emergent geometry, QVGT focuses specifically on the vacuum spectral sector and its possible connection to effective geometric and gravitational structures.\n\nThe framework does not assume spacetime geometry as a fundamental background. Instead, geometry is treated as an emergent reconstruction arising from admissible spectral organizations of vacuum dynamics.\n\nQVGT does not claim to provide a complete theory of quantum gravity, a final microscopic description of nature, or a replacement for established gravitational theories. Rather, it presents a mathematical research framework for exploring the emergence of effective geometry, quantum structure, and gravitational behavior from spectral vacuum dynamics.\n\nThe project provides the mathematical foundations, operator formulation, spectral analysis, computational investigations, and conceptual framework required for further study of emergent geometric phenomena.","lang":"tha"}],"geoLocations":[],"fundingReferences":[],"url":"https://osf.io/bfr6z/","contentUrl":null,"metadataVersion":0,"schemaVersion":"http://datacite.org/schema/kernel-4","source":"mds","isActive":true,"state":"findable","reason":null,"viewCount":0,"downloadCount":0,"referenceCount":0,"citationCount":0,"partCount":0,"partOfCount":0,"versionCount":0,"versionOfCount":0,"created":"2026-07-14T02:48:36Z","registered":"2026-07-14T02:48:36Z","published":null,"updated":"2026-07-14T02:48:36Z"},"relationships":{"client":{"data":{"id":"cos.osf","type":"clients"}}}},{"id":"10.17605/osf.io/yh527","type":"dois","attributes":{"doi":"10.17605/osf.io/yh527","identifiers":[{"identifier":"https://osf.io/yh527","identifierType":"URL"}],"creators":[{"nameType":"Personal","name":"Ferry game-based learning and gamified pedagogies in teacher education. Its main purpose is to synthesize current evidence on how digital games, serious games, educational games, escape rooms, augmented and virtual reality games, and gamified learning environments are being used to support the preparation and professional development of teachers.\n\nThe review focuses on teacher education contexts, including pre-service teachers, in-service teachers, teacher candidates, teacher educators, and professional development participants. Following a systematic review approach aligned with PRISMA 2020, the study analyzes research retrieved from Scopus, Web of Science, and ERIC. The final corpus includes 94 studies that were examined through thematic synthesis.\n\nThe project addresses four main areas: the types of game-based and gamified approaches used in teacher education; the pedagogical strategies associated with these approaches; the competencies, skills, attitudes, and professional learning outcomes developed by teachers; and the main benefits and challenges reported in the literature.\n\nThe expected outcome of this review is to provide an integrated overview of the role of digital game-based learning and gamification in teacher education. The study is expected to clarify how these approaches contribute to instructional design, digital competence, motivation, engagement, collaboration, pedagogical innovation, and readiness to integrate game-based strategies into classroom practice. At the same time, the review identifies persistent challenges, including conceptual ambiguity, limited teacher preparation, technical and infrastructure barriers, workload, classroom management issues, curricular alignment, and the need for stronger institutional support.\n\nOverall, this project seeks to support researchers, teacher educators, and educational institutions by offering evidence-based insights for the design, implementation, and evaluation of game-based and gamified pedagogical practices in teacher education."}],"geoLocations":[],"fundingReferences":[],"url":"https://osf.io/37r8d/","contentUrl":null,"metadataVersion":0,"schemaVersion":"http://datacite.org/schema/kernel-4","source":"mds","isActive":true,"state":"findable","reason":null,"viewCount":0,"downloadCount":0,"referenceCount":0,"citationCount":0,"partCount":0,"partOfCount":0,"versionCount":0,"versionOfCount":0,"created":"2026-07-14T02:38:36Z","registered":"2026-07-14T02:38:37Z","published":null,"updated":"2026-07-14T02:38:37Z"},"relationships":{"client":{"data":{"id":"cos.osf","type":"clients"}}}},{"id":"10.17605/osf.io/943dy","type":"dois","attributes":{"doi":"10.17605/osf.io/943dy","identifiers":[{"identifier":"https://osf.io/943dy","identifierType":"URL"}],"creators":[{"nameType":"Personal","name":"Liwei Chan","nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifierScheme":"ORCID","schemeUri":"https://orcid.org","nameIdentifier":"https://orcid.org/0000-0002-7862-2817"},{"nameIdentifierScheme":"URL","nameIdentifier":"https://osf.io/5a6gp"}],"affiliation":[]},{"nameType":"Personal","name":"Chih-Jou Li","nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifierScheme":"URL","nameIdentifier":"https://osf.io/b2uy8"}],"affiliation":[]},{"nameType":"Personal","name":"Yuta Sugiura","nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifierScheme":"URL","nameIdentifier":"https://osf.io/2z9ma"}],"affiliation":[]},{"nameType":"Personal","name":"Hsuan Hsuan Lee","nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifierScheme":"URL","nameIdentifier":"https://osf.io/aphzf"}],"affiliation":[]}],"titles":[{"title":"Eye–Foot Movement of Objects in Extended Reality: Software and Study Materials"}],"publisher":"OSF","container":{},"publicationYear":2026,"subjects":[],"contributors":[{"nameType":"Organizational","name":"Center for Open Science","nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifierScheme":"URL","nameIdentifier":"https://cos.io/"},{"nameIdentifierScheme":"ROR","schemeUri":"https://ror.org","nameIdentifier":"https://ror.org/05d5mza29"}],"contributorType":"HostingInstitution","affiliation":[]}],"dates":[{"date":"2026-07-13","dateType":"Created"},{"date":"2026-07-14","dateType":"Updated"}],"language":null,"types":{"schemaOrg":"ScholarlyArticle","resourceTypeGeneral":"Text","citeproc":"article-journal","bibtex":"article","ris":"RPRT","resourceType":"Project"},"relatedIdentifiers":[],"relatedItems":[],"sizes":[],"formats":[],"version":null,"rightsList":[],"descriptions":[{"descriptionType":"Abstract","description":"Research materials accompanying the manuscript “Eye–Foot Movement of Objects in Extended Reality.” This repository contains experimental software, hardware documentation, study protocols, blank instruments, analysis code, data schemas, and independently generated synthetic examples. La convergencia entre videojuegos y apuestas monetizadas constituye un factor de riesgo para adolescentes y adultos jóvenes. Esta etapa presenta vulnerabilidades cognitivas específicas. Sin embargo, la relación de estas mecánicas sobre la regulación afectiva y la impulsividad carece de sistematización. Objetivo: Sintetizar la evidencia empírica sobre la exposición a la convergencia gaming-gambling y su asociación cognitivo-conductual con la regulación emocional y la impulsividad en adolescentes y adultos jóvenes. Método: Esta revisión sistemática registrada en Open Science Framework (OSF) siguió las directrices PRISMA 2020. Se exploraron cuatro bases de datos (Web of Science, Scopus, APA PsycINFO y SciELO). La calidad metodológica se auditó con los ítems originales de la herramienta del Instituto Joanna Briggs (JBI). Se ejecutó una síntesis narrativa cuantitativa sobre cuatro estudios transversales, sumando una muestra de 6,585 participantes. Resultados: Los estimadores revelan perfiles de riesgo diferenciados. El azar simulado y las microtransacciones presentan asociaciones significativas con el trastorno por videojuegos (Odds Ratios: 1.98 a 4.55); en contraste, adquirir cajas de botín se relaciona con una mayor severidad del juego problemático (Odds Ratio = 4.40). A nivel psicológico, esta inmersión digital se vincula con estrategias emocionales desadaptativas y mayores niveles de impulsividad. El diseño algorítmico interactúa de forma concurrente con los déficits previos de control inhibitorio en los usuarios. Conclusiones: El diseño de los entornos digitales se asocia empíricamente con alteraciones en la regulación afectiva y una mayor impulsividad en adolescentes y adultos jóvenes. Este riesgo afecta principalmente a subgrupos con vulnerabilidades cognitivas previas. Los datos demuestran la urgencia de implementar marcos regulatorios y diseñar intervenciones psicológicas focalizadas."}],"geoLocations":[],"fundingReferences":[],"url":"https://osf.io/pf45d/","contentUrl":null,"metadataVersion":0,"schemaVersion":"http://datacite.org/schema/kernel-4","source":"mds","isActive":true,"state":"findable","reason":null,"viewCount":0,"downloadCount":0,"referenceCount":0,"citationCount":0,"partCount":0,"partOfCount":0,"versionCount":0,"versionOfCount":0,"created":"2026-07-14T02:03:56Z","registered":"2026-07-14T02:03:57Z","published":null,"updated":"2026-07-14T02:03:57Z"},"relationships":{"client":{"data":{"id":"cos.osf","type":"clients"}}}},{"id":"10.17605/osf.io/z32xk","type":"dois","attributes":{"doi":"10.17605/osf.io/z32xk","identifiers":[{"identifier":"https://osf.io/z32xk","identifierType":"URL"}],"creators":[{"nameType":"Personal","name":"Jiahui Lian","nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifierScheme":"ORCID","schemeUri":"https://orcid.org","nameIdentifier":"https://orcid.org/0009-0004-4375-1995"},{"nameIdentifierScheme":"URL","nameIdentifier":"https://osf.io/4u53p"}],"affiliation":[]}],"titles":[{"title":"Neo-Super Materials: A Critical Critique of the Underlying Logic of Bone Fracture Repair Materials and the Theoretical Prospects of Natural Source Adhesives"}],"publisher":"OSF","container":{},"publicationYear":2026,"subjects":[{"subject":"Medicine and Health Sciences","subjectScheme":"bepress Digital Commons Three-Tiered Taxonomy"},{"subject":"Biomaterials"},{"subject":"Bone Regeneration"},{"subject":"Orthopedics"},{"subject":"Tissue Engineering"}],"contributors":[{"nameType":"Organizational","name":"Center for Open Science","nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifierScheme":"URL","nameIdentifier":"https://cos.io/"},{"nameIdentifierScheme":"ROR","schemeUri":"https://ror.org","nameIdentifier":"https://ror.org/05d5mza29"}],"contributorType":"HostingInstitution","affiliation":[]}],"dates":[{"date":"2026-07-14","dateType":"Created"},{"date":"2026-07-14","dateType":"Updated"}],"language":null,"types":{"schemaOrg":"ScholarlyArticle","resourceTypeGeneral":"Text","citeproc":"article-journal","bibtex":"article","ris":"RPRT","resourceType":"Project"},"relatedIdentifiers":[],"relatedItems":[],"sizes":[],"formats":[],"version":null,"rightsList":[{"rightsIdentifierScheme":"SPDX","rightsUri":"https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/legalcode","schemeUri":"https://spdx.org/licenses/","rights":"Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International","rightsIdentifier":"cc-by-4.0"}],"descriptions":[{"descriptionType":"Abstract","description":"The core requirement of fracture repair is \"reduction → stabilization → healing,\" occurring in that sequential order. However, current research on bone adhesives universally narrows \"healing\" to the \"mechanical connection of bone ends,\" neglecting the fact that bone is part of a four-in-one motor unit comprising nerves, muscles, bones, and joints. Based on the Neo-Super Materials theoretical framework, this paper proposes that the design of bone adhesives must return to two primary constraints of applied first principles: ① achieving immediate mechanical fixation in a wet, dynamically loaded physiological environment; and ② degradation products that are naturally compatible with bone metabolic pathways. Using this yardstick to examine four current mainstream technical routes, it is found that their design starting points are mismatched with non-bone-repair scenarios such as marine anti-peeling, artificial functional stacking, plant nutrient storage, and drug delivery—none satisfying both constraints simultaneously. This paper further establishes a \"temporal arrow\" typology for natural adhesive substances, distinguishing between the \"permanent anchoring type\" and the \"temporary sealing type,\" and demonstrates that only the latter naturally coincides with the requirements of bone repair. On this basis, this paper incorporates bone nerve proprioception, differences in muscle-skeletal rehabilitation cycles, and heterogeneity in bone age and bone mineral density into design constraints, proposing the concept of \"Material Prescription\"—a single material platform that can be gently adjusted to achieve personalized adaptation for different patients and anatomical sites, along with five testable hypotheses as a roadmap for subsequent verification. This paper aims to establish a new underlying logical starting point for bone adhesive research: the endpoint of fracture repair is the patient's recovery of complete motor function and bodily awareness, not the disappearance of the fracture line on X-ray."}],"geoLocations":[],"fundingReferences":[],"url":"https://osf.io/z32xk/","contentUrl":null,"metadataVersion":0,"schemaVersion":"http://datacite.org/schema/kernel-4","source":"mds","isActive":true,"state":"findable","reason":null,"viewCount":0,"downloadCount":0,"referenceCount":0,"citationCount":0,"partCount":0,"partOfCount":0,"versionCount":0,"versionOfCount":0,"created":"2026-07-14T02:00:11Z","registered":"2026-07-14T02:00:12Z","published":null,"updated":"2026-07-14T02:00:12Z"},"relationships":{"client":{"data":{"id":"cos.osf","type":"clients"}}}},{"id":"10.17605/osf.io/u4mds","type":"dois","attributes":{"doi":"10.17605/osf.io/u4mds","identifiers":[{"identifier":"https://osf.io/u4mds","identifierType":"URL"}],"creators":[{"nameType":"Personal","name":"Oliver solution. Its chief motivation is to answer basic story-telling questions about Nature that the last 125 years have been unable to answer, owing to foundational disarray stemming from the conceptual intractability that has pervaded quantum physics. The RQF is all about the what, where, when, and how of quantum physics, as it plays out in the space-time arena of special and general relativity. It is based on a quantum ontology consisting of two fundamental ontic entities, called W-state and P-state, that respectively account for the wave- and particle-like aspects of quantum systems. W-state is wave-like, local, physical state, embodying the physicality of matter-energy, whereas P-state is particle-like, global, informational state, mediating entanglement effects and particle holism.\n\nHistorically, the single most difficult challenge of putting quantum theory on a realist footing has been to provide mechanistic explanation of how weak non-locality, manifest in entanglement phenomenology, can be squared with the no-signaling stricture of special relativity (SR). The challenge is so centrally important to making sense of quantum physics that the theoretical minimum of the RQF is dedicated exclusively to addressing and resolving it.\n\nWork to date consists of four papers:\n\n[1] The pilot paper (https://dx.doi.org/10.2139/ssrn.5920722) focuses principally on quantum foundations and the theoretical minimum of W-state and P-state, showing how the two separate realms of reality can interoperate to produce non-local entanglement effects fully compliant with the causal structure and no-signaling stricture of special relativity.\n\n[2] https://dx.doi.org/10.2139/ssrn.6194219 is a shorter paper, identifying multi-situationality, not probability, as the central metaphor of quantum physics. Multi-situationality signifies the facet of physical reality that permits two or more situations to coexist, despite their being mutually incompatible by all classical reckoning. The RQF interprets the uncertainty principle as a mandate for a minimal level of multi-situationality in quantum systems.\n\n[3] zenodo.org/records/20581089 elaborates on the detailed structure of W-state, which is the structure of elementary particle matter in the Standard Model: leptons, neutrinos, and quarks. Quantum theory and the core subject matter of nuclear physics are rebuilt from the ground up in the new realist framework.\n\n[4] zenodo.org/records/20671848 extends the RQF to cosmology, addressing the key topics of quantum gravity, origin of inertia, and phasal polarity (matter and anti-matter). It offers an Analysis of Alternatives that was historically lacking in the acceptance of Lemaitre's primeval atom.","lang":"eng"}],"geoLocations":[],"fundingReferences":[],"url":"https://osf.io/7v89b/","contentUrl":null,"metadataVersion":0,"schemaVersion":"http://datacite.org/schema/kernel-4","source":"mds","isActive":true,"state":"findable","reason":null,"viewCount":0,"downloadCount":0,"referenceCount":0,"citationCount":0,"partCount":0,"partOfCount":0,"versionCount":0,"versionOfCount":0,"created":"2026-07-13T23:42:01Z","registered":"2026-07-13T23:42:02Z","published":null,"updated":"2026-07-13T23:42:02Z"},"relationships":{"client":{"data":{"id":"cos.osf","type":"clients"}}}},{"id":"10.17605/osf.io/cvuzy","type":"dois","attributes":{"doi":"10.17605/osf.io/cvuzy","identifiers":[{"identifier":"https://osf.io/cvuzy","identifierType":"URL"}],"creators":[{"nameType":"Personal","affiliation":["Arizona AI shifts across a semester of teaching. This orientation, a student's AI-Locus of Control, is whether they direct the AI tool or defer to it. The design is longitudinal, mixed-methods, and Bayesian. It runs across three cohorts at one university. Both surveys are collected and sealed, and no response has been examined. This deposit lets a reviewer inspect the parts of the analysis plan fixed before the data are seen: the survey instrument, the qualitative codebook, the design simulations that set the evidence thresholds, and the record of how AI assisted the work. The survey responses are not here. They are sealed now and embargoed to Stage 2."}],"geoLocations":[],"fundingReferences":[],"url":"https://osf.io/cs8bh/","contentUrl":null,"metadataVersion":1,"schemaVersion":"http://datacite.org/schema/kernel-4","source":"mds","isActive":true,"state":"findable","reason":null,"viewCount":0,"downloadCount":0,"referenceCount":0,"citationCount":0,"partCount":0,"partOfCount":0,"versionCount":0,"versionOfCount":0,"created":"2026-07-13T23:05:19Z","registered":"2026-07-13T23:05:20Z","published":null,"updated":"2026-07-13T23:16:08Z"},"relationships":{"client":{"data":{"id":"cos.osf","type":"clients"}}}}],"meta":{"total":325981,"totalPages":400,"page":1},"links":{"self":"https://api.datacite.org/dois?query=types.resourceType%3A%2AProject%2A","next":"https://api.datacite.org/dois?page%5Bnumber%5D=2\u0026page%5Bsize%5D=25\u0026query=types.resourceType%3A%2AProject%2A"}}
