The new version is shorter, harsher, and more categorical. It presents JAFFE as though it embodied a crude ontology of emotion, while omitting published rebuttals to the earlier critique. This note argues that the book mischaracterizes JAFFE by inflating a limited operational framework into a sweeping claim about “inner emotional states.” It further places that dispute in a documented context of prior objections, published replies, public accusation, and private hostility. physics results confirming a 1.5-sigma “solar neutrino tension” regarding oscillation parameters. While the Standard Model attributes this discrepancy to incomplete measurements or “new physics,” this paper demonstrates that the tension is a structural necessity of topological geometry. Utilizing the Triadic Coherence Invariant, [Reality = P \\times I \\times Pr], and mapping the particle spectrum as torus knot topologies, we provide a zero-parameter derivation of both the solar mixing angle ([\\sin^2\\theta_{12}]) and the mass squared difference ([\\Delta m^2_{21}]). The derived invariant constants—a [1/45] topological residue and a [52/7] derivative scaling coefficient—predict JUNO’s measured values within their quoted uncertainties. This establishes CAT’S Theory not as a parametric fit, but as a structural blueprint of the leptonic sector. ","descriptionType":"Abstract"}],"geoLocations":[],"fundingReferences":[],"url":"https://zenodo.org/doi/10.5281/zenodo.19412366","contentUrl":null,"metadataVersion":0,"schemaVersion":"http://datacite.org/schema/kernel-4","source":"api","isActive":true,"state":"findable","reason":null,"viewCount":0,"downloadCount":0,"referenceCount":0,"citationCount":0,"partCount":0,"partOfCount":0,"versionCount":0,"versionOfCount":0,"created":"2026-04-04T02:57:36Z","registered":"2026-04-04T02:57:36Z","published":null,"updated":"2026-04-04T02:57:36Z"},"relationships":{"client":{"data":{"id":"cern.zenodo","type":"clients"}}}},{"id":"10.26190/unsworks/25859","type":"dois","attributes":{"doi":"10.26190/unsworks/25859","identifiers":[],"creators":[{"name":"Hull, P","nameType":"Personal","givenName":"P","familyName":"Hull","affiliation":[],"nameIdentifiers":[]},{"name":"Mao, L","nameType":"Personal","givenName":"L","familyName":"Mao","nameIdentifiers":[{"schemeUri":"https://orcid.org","nameIdentifier":"https://orcid.org/0000-0003-0995-5789","nameIdentifierScheme":"ORCID"}],"affiliation":[]},{"name":"Rossteuscher, K","nameType":"Personal","givenName":"K","familyName":"Rossteuscher","affiliation":[],"nameIdentifiers":[]},{"name":"Marion-Landais, S","nameType":"Personal","givenName":"S","familyName":"Marion-Landais","affiliation":[],"nameIdentifiers":[]},{"name":"Prestage, G","nameType":"Personal","givenName":"G","familyName":"Prestage","nameIdentifiers":[{"schemeUri":"https://orcid.org","nameIdentifier":"https://orcid.org/0000-0003-3917-8992","nameIdentifierScheme":"ORCID"}],"affiliation":[]},{"name":"Zablotska, I","nameType":"Personal","givenName":"I","familyName":"Zablotska","affiliation":[],"nameIdentifiers":[]},{"name":"De Wit, J","nameType":"Personal","givenName":"J","familyName":"De Wit","nameIdentifiers":[{"schemeUri":"https://orcid.org","nameIdentifier":"https://orcid.org/0000-0002-5895-7935","nameIdentifierScheme":"ORCID"}],"affiliation":[]},{"name":"Holt, M","nameType":"Personal","givenName":"M","familyName":"Holt","affiliation":[],"nameIdentifiers":[]}],"titles":[{"title":"Gay Community Periodic Survey: Canberra 2015"}],"publisher":"UNSW Sydney","container":{"type":"Series","identifier":"978-1-875967-08-7","identifierType":"ISBN"},"publicationYear":2016,"subjects":[],"contributors":[{"name":"ACT Health","nameType":"Organizational","affiliation":[],"contributorType":"Sponsor","nameIdentifiers":[]},{"name":"UNSW Sydney","nameType":"Organizational","affiliation":["UNSW Sydney","UNSW Sydney"],"contributorType":"HostingInstitution","nameIdentifiers":[]}],"dates":[{"date":"2016","dateType":"Issued"}],"language":null,"types":{"ris":"RPRT","bibtex":"techreport","citeproc":"report","schemaOrg":"Report","resourceType":"report","resourceTypeGeneral":"Report"},"relatedIdentifiers":[{"relationType":"IsPartOf","relatedIdentifier":"978-1-875967-08-7","relatedIdentifierType":"ISBN"},{"relationType":"References","relatedIdentifier":"https://csrh.arts.unsw.edu.au/media/CSRHFile/GCPS_Canberra_2015.pdf","relatedIdentifierType":"URL"}],"relatedItems":[],"sizes":[],"formats":[],"version":null,"rightsList":[{"rights":"Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial No Derivatives 4.0 International","rightsUri":"https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/legalcode","schemeUri":"https://spdx.org/licenses/","rightsIdentifier":"cc-by-nc-nd-4.0","rightsIdentifierScheme":"SPDX"}],"descriptions":[{"description":"The Canberra Gay Community Periodic Survey is a cross-sectional survey of gay and homosexually active men. Participants are recruited from gay venues and community events. The major aim of the survey is to provide data on sexual, drug use and testing practices related to the transmission of HIV and other sexually transmissible infections (STIs) among gay men. From its start in 2000, the project has been funded by ACT Health and coordinated by the AIDS Action Council of the ACT. In the 2015 survey, the sixth conducted in Canberra, 303 men were recruited from the Canberra springOUT Festival Fair Day, gay social venues, a sex-on-premises venue, a sexual health clinic and, for the first time, through online recruitment. Online recruitment was conducted through the social networking site Facebook. Men were directed to a website with an online version of the GCPS questionnaire (http://gcpsonline.net). The advertisements were targeted to all men aged 16 and above who were located in the Australian Capital Territory and indicated in their Facebook profile that they were ‘interested’ in men.","descriptionType":"Abstract"}],"geoLocations":[],"fundingReferences":[],"url":"http://hdl.handle.net/1959.4/unsworks_39219","contentUrl":null,"metadataVersion":3,"schemaVersion":"http://datacite.org/schema/kernel-4","source":"mds","isActive":true,"state":"findable","reason":null,"viewCount":0,"downloadCount":0,"referenceCount":0,"citationCount":0,"partCount":0,"partOfCount":0,"versionCount":0,"versionOfCount":0,"created":"2024-04-15T12:17:34Z","registered":"2024-04-15T12:17:54Z","published":null,"updated":"2026-04-04T02:28:49Z"},"relationships":{"client":{"data":{"id":"unsw.repo","type":"clients"}}}},{"id":"10.26190/unsworks/26201","type":"dois","attributes":{"doi":"10.26190/unsworks/26201","identifiers":[],"creators":[{"name":"Judd, Bruce","nameType":"Personal","givenName":"Bruce","familyName":"Judd","nameIdentifiers":[{"schemeUri":"https://orcid.org","nameIdentifier":"https://orcid.org/0000-0001-9556-7736","nameIdentifierScheme":"ORCID"}],"affiliation":[]},{"name":"Liu, EY","nameType":"Personal","givenName":"EY","familyName":"Liu","nameIdentifiers":[{"schemeUri":"https://orcid.org","nameIdentifier":"https://orcid.org/0000-0003-2839-0875","nameIdentifierScheme":"ORCID"}],"affiliation":[]},{"name":"Easthope, Hazel","nameType":"Personal","givenName":"Hazel","familyName":"Easthope","nameIdentifiers":[{"schemeUri":"https://orcid.org","nameIdentifier":"https://orcid.org/0000-0002-8867-2180","nameIdentifierScheme":"ORCID"}],"affiliation":[]},{"name":"Bridge, Catherine","nameType":"Personal","givenName":"Catherine","familyName":"Bridge","nameIdentifiers":[{"schemeUri":"https://orcid.org","nameIdentifier":"https://orcid.org/0000-0003-3007-6578","nameIdentifierScheme":"ORCID"}],"affiliation":[]}],"titles":[{"title":"Understanding Downsizing in Later Life and its Implications for Housing and Urban Policy"}],"publisher":"UNSW Sydney","container":{"type":"Series","identifier":"1740440331","identifierType":"ISBN"},"publicationYear":2013,"subjects":[{"subject":"12 Built Environment and Design","schemeUri":"https://www.abs.gov.au/statistics/classifications/australian-and-new-zealand-standard-research-classification-anzsrc","subjectScheme":"anzsrc-for"}],"contributors":[{"name":"Ruming, K","givenName":"K","familyName":"Ruming","contributorType":"Editor","affiliation":[],"nameIdentifiers":[]},{"name":"Randolph, B","givenName":"B","familyName":"Randolph","contributorType":"Editor","affiliation":[],"nameIdentifiers":[]},{"name":"Gurran, N","givenName":"N","familyName":"Gurran","contributorType":"Editor","affiliation":[],"nameIdentifiers":[]},{"name":"UNSW Sydney","nameType":"Organizational","affiliation":["UNSW Sydney","UNSW Sydney"],"contributorType":"HostingInstitution","nameIdentifiers":[]}],"dates":[{"date":"2013","dateType":"Issued"}],"language":null,"types":{"ris":"CPAPER","bibtex":"article","citeproc":"","schemaOrg":"Article","resourceType":"conference paper","resourceTypeGeneral":"ConferencePaper"},"relatedIdentifiers":[{"relationType":"IsPartOf","relatedIdentifier":"1740440331","relatedIdentifierType":"ISBN"},{"relationType":"References","relatedIdentifier":"http://www.soacconference.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/Judd-social.pdf","relatedIdentifierType":"URL"}],"relatedItems":[],"sizes":[],"formats":[],"version":null,"rightsList":[{"rights":"Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial No Derivatives 4.0 International","rightsUri":"https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/legalcode","schemeUri":"https://spdx.org/licenses/","rightsIdentifier":"cc-by-nc-nd-4.0","rightsIdentifierScheme":"SPDX"}],"descriptions":[{"description":"The ageing of the population is one of the major policy challenges of the 21st Century and has major implications for the future of Australian cities. Downsizing is often assumed as inevitable or necessary in housing and urban policy as a response to the ageing population, yet has been the subject of little research in Australia. This paper discusses the findings of a recently completed AHURI research project on downsizing involving analysis of ABS data, and a national mail survey together with in-depth interviews and policy forums in three states of Australia (New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia). Based on the survey findings and ABS analysis it provides an estimate of the extent of downsizing in Australia. It then explores how downsizing is conceptualised in the academic and policy literature as well as in the popular understanding of the older participants in the survey and interviews. It reviews evidence from the survey and interviews concerning the motivations of older people who downsize, the processes they undertake and their views of the economic and social outcomes of having downsized. Finally, based on the perceptions of downsizer survey respondents and interviewees and the policy forum participants, the paper concludes by considering the implications of this research for housing and urban policy.","descriptionType":"Abstract"},{"description":"State of Australian Cities Conference 2013; Sydney; 2013-11-27 - paper presents a hybrid uncertain static analysis for engineering structures involving stochastic and non-stochastic parameters simultaneously. In order to achieve a more generalized framework of analysis, the imprecise probabilistic model is implemented to represent the random variables whereas the interval analysis is adopted to model the uncertain parameters with information insufficiency. For the purpose of illustrating the applicability of the proposed method, one multi-bay multi-storey frame structure subject to various uncertainties is investigated. Feminist institutionalism allows new insights into how hidden informal organisational rules, practices and narratives operate in conjunction with formal rules in achieving gender diversity and equity. However, the adoption of feminist institutionalism as a conceptual framework raises new methodological questions. While formal rules are created, communicated and enforced through official and highly visible channels, informal rules, norms and procedures are created, communicated, and enforced outside officially sanctioned channels and are often 'hidden' from view. The power of ethnographic methods to reveal such 'under-the-surface' institutions is well established in the social and political sciences but not in construction. This paper makes a methodological contribution in response to the practical constraints of doing ethnography in the construction industry, by describing the merits of rapid ethnography within the context of feminist institutionalism. It concludes that while rapid ethnography has its limitations, it has significant potential as an unexplored methodology to tackle the persistent problem of gender equality in the construction industry and other social issues in construction management research.","descriptionType":"Abstract"},{"description":"31st Annual ARCOM Conference; Lincoln, UK; 2015-09-07 - 2015-09-09","descriptionType":"Other"}],"geoLocations":[],"fundingReferences":[],"url":"http://hdl.handle.net/1959.4/unsworks_37220","contentUrl":null,"metadataVersion":4,"schemaVersion":"http://datacite.org/schema/kernel-4","source":"mds","isActive":true,"state":"findable","reason":null,"viewCount":0,"downloadCount":0,"referenceCount":0,"citationCount":0,"partCount":0,"partOfCount":0,"versionCount":0,"versionOfCount":0,"created":"2024-04-15T11:10:09Z","registered":"2024-04-15T11:10:30Z","published":null,"updated":"2026-04-04T02:28:16Z"},"relationships":{"client":{"data":{"id":"unsw.repo","type":"clients"}}}},{"id":"10.26190/unsworks/27436","type":"dois","attributes":{"doi":"10.26190/unsworks/27436","identifiers":[],"creators":[{"name":"Cortis, N","nameType":"Personal","givenName":"N","familyName":"Cortis","nameIdentifiers":[{"schemeUri":"https://orcid.org","nameIdentifier":"https://orcid.org/0000-0003-2035-6146","nameIdentifierScheme":"ORCID"}],"affiliation":[]},{"name":"Eastman, C","nameType":"Personal","givenName":"C","familyName":"Eastman","affiliation":[],"nameIdentifiers":[]}],"titles":[{"title":"Employment arrangements in social and community services receiving Commonwealth direct funding"}],"publisher":"UNSW Sydney","container":{"type":"Series","identifier":"9780733431678","identifierType":"ISBN","title":"SPRC Report; 04/12"},"publicationYear":2012,"subjects":[{"subject":"150306 Industrial Relations","schemeUri":"https://www.abs.gov.au/statistics/classifications/australian-and-new-zealand-standard-research-classification-anzsrc","subjectScheme":"anzsrc-for"},{"subject":"160512 Social Policy","schemeUri":"https://www.abs.gov.au/statistics/classifications/australian-and-new-zealand-standard-research-classification-anzsrc","subjectScheme":"anzsrc-for"}],"contributors":[{"name":"UNSW Sydney","nameType":"Organizational","affiliation":["UNSW Sydney","UNSW Sydney"],"contributorType":"HostingInstitution","nameIdentifiers":[]}],"dates":[{"date":"2012","dateType":"Issued"}],"language":null,"types":{"ris":"RPRT","bibtex":"techreport","citeproc":"report","schemaOrg":"Report","resourceType":"report","resourceTypeGeneral":"Report"},"relatedIdentifiers":[{"relationType":"IsPartOf","relatedIdentifier":"9780733431678","relatedIdentifierType":"ISBN"}],"relatedItems":[],"sizes":[],"formats":[],"version":null,"rightsList":[{"rights":"Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial No Derivatives 4.0 International","rightsUri":"https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/legalcode","schemeUri":"https://spdx.org/licenses/","rightsIdentifier":"cc-by-nc-nd-4.0","rightsIdentifierScheme":"SPDX"}],"descriptions":[{"description":"SPRC Report; 04/12","descriptionType":"SeriesInformation"}],"geoLocations":[],"fundingReferences":[],"url":"http://hdl.handle.net/1959.4/unsworks_61871","contentUrl":null,"metadataVersion":0,"schemaVersion":"http://datacite.org/schema/kernel-4","source":"mds","isActive":true,"state":"findable","reason":null,"viewCount":0,"downloadCount":0,"referenceCount":0,"citationCount":0,"partCount":0,"partOfCount":0,"versionCount":0,"versionOfCount":0,"created":"2024-04-16T04:10:51Z","registered":"2024-04-16T04:11:10Z","published":null,"updated":"2026-04-04T02:28:14Z"},"relationships":{"client":{"data":{"id":"unsw.repo","type":"clients"}}}},{"id":"10.26190/unsworks/26758","type":"dois","attributes":{"doi":"10.26190/unsworks/26758","identifiers":[],"creators":[{"name":"Al-shaery, A","nameType":"Personal","givenName":"A","familyName":"Al-shaery","affiliation":[],"nameIdentifiers":[]},{"name":"Lim, S","nameType":"Personal","givenName":"S","familyName":"Lim","nameIdentifiers":[{"schemeUri":"https://orcid.org","nameIdentifier":"https://orcid.org/0000-0001-9838-8960","nameIdentifierScheme":"ORCID"}],"affiliation":[]},{"name":"Rizos, C","nameType":"Personal","givenName":"C","familyName":"Rizos","nameIdentifiers":[{"schemeUri":"https://orcid.org","nameIdentifier":"https://orcid.org/0000-0002-7276-1488","nameIdentifierScheme":"ORCID"}],"affiliation":[]}],"titles":[{"title":"Functional models of ordinary kriging for medium range real-time kinematic positioning based on the Virtual Reference Station technique"}],"publisher":"UNSW Sydney","container":{"type":"Series","identifier":"9781617827358","identifierType":"ISBN"},"publicationYear":2010,"subjects":[{"subject":"090906 Surveying (incl. A network of Continuously Operating Reference Stations in New South Wales, known as CORSnet-NSW, is utilised to: 1) obtain atmospheric residuals for each reference station, 2) construct an empirical variogram over the network, 3) determine Kriging parameters for three different models: a spherical-, an exponential-, and a gaussian model; and 4) optimise the atmospheric corrections for real-time kinematic positioning. Applying the atmospheric corrections obtained by the Ordinary Kriging functional models, “synthetic” measurements at a virtual reference station are generated and used for real-time kinematic positioning. Field tests with baselines ranging from 21km to 62km indicate that 1.9cm up to 4.4cm of horizontal accuracy (1 sigma) is achieved. Results show approximately 53% or higher improvement when compared with the results from commercially available software packages. This study has demonstrated the usefulness of a number of Ordinary Kriging functional models where ionospheric and tropospheric delays significantly degrade the positioning quality.","descriptionType":"Abstract"},{"description":"23rd Int. need for affordable housing is a growing issue requiring sincere and urgent attention globally. With increasing focus on climate change and other environmental issues our housing must be environmentally sustainable too. We also need housing in remote areas where conventional construction is both cost and resource inefficient. Prefabrication offers great opportunities for both sustainability and affordability and hence is emerging as an attractive alternative to conventional on-site construction. In this context, the CRC for Low Carbon Living in Australia has been engaged to develop designs for sustainable and affordable modular homes. The early optimisation was undertaken using AccuRate Sustainability - Australia's national benchmark software tool for rating the thermal performance of residential designs. An iterative process was employed where the rating software was used as a design and analytical tool to generate optimised designs for various orientations and climate zones throughout Australia. This paper explores the process of improving the performance of an existing design and developing a thermally optimised new design, and presents some of the early results of this optimisation. The results show significant improvements in the thermal performance when compared to the existing design, but more importantly, the combined engineering and design research efforts developed general design principles that seemed to work well for most of the climates and orientations studied. This research contributes to the debate on integrative design process and its significance for sustainable built environment in general; it also ascertains the path forward for a more comprehensive approach to net zero energy and self-reliant modular housing - the eventual aim of the project.","descriptionType":"Abstract"},{"description":"30th International PLEA Conference: Sustainable Habitat for Developing Societies; Transportation is an important phase in the procurement process which can account for up to 20% of the total project expenditure in some industrial construction projects. However, despite its importance, transportation is usually overlooked when planning the material procurement stage and evaluating the potential risks of delay. This study evaluates the current practices in managing transportation stage of the construction material procurement process and the perception of the industry practitioners about the importance of considering material transportation in project planning using the results of a limited systematic survey. In addition, the importance of transportation in the procurement of construction materials is studied by considering the actual data on shipment of construction materials/components in two industrial projects. Results indicate that material handling procedures adopted in industry are highly disorganized and transportation variables are ineffectively articulated. The results highlight the need for methods to plan, monitor and control the transportation stage as an independent activity in the material’s life cycle. Besides the travelling distance, weight, dimension, mode of transportation, and terms of delivery were identified as the main factors affecting the transportation of the construction materials.","descriptionType":"Abstract"},{"description":"The 31st International Symposium on Automation and Robotics in Construction and Mining (ISARC 2014); Sydney, Australia; 2014-07-09 - 2014-07-11","descriptionType":"Other"}],"geoLocations":[],"fundingReferences":[],"url":"http://hdl.handle.net/1959.4/unsworks_52888","contentUrl":null,"metadataVersion":5,"schemaVersion":"http://datacite.org/schema/kernel-4","source":"mds","isActive":true,"state":"findable","reason":null,"viewCount":0,"downloadCount":0,"referenceCount":1,"citationCount":0,"partCount":0,"partOfCount":0,"versionCount":0,"versionOfCount":0,"created":"2024-04-15T23:06:31Z","registered":"2024-04-15T23:06:51Z","published":null,"updated":"2026-04-04T02:27:28Z"},"relationships":{"client":{"data":{"id":"unsw.repo","type":"clients"}}}},{"id":"10.26190/unsworks/26970","type":"dois","attributes":{"doi":"10.26190/unsworks/26970","identifiers":[],"creators":[{"name":"Felli, Franco","nameType":"Personal","givenName":"Franco","familyName":"Felli","affiliation":[],"nameIdentifiers":[]},{"name":"Liu, Chang","nameType":"Personal","givenName":"Chang","familyName":"Liu","affiliation":[],"nameIdentifiers":[]},{"name":"Ullah, Fahim","nameType":"Personal","givenName":"Fahim","familyName":"Ullah","affiliation":[],"nameIdentifiers":[]},{"name":"Sepasgozar, Samad","nameType":"Personal","givenName":"Samad","familyName":"Sepasgozar","nameIdentifiers":[{"schemeUri":"https://orcid.org","nameIdentifier":"https://orcid.org/0000-0003-2568-3111","nameIdentifierScheme":"ORCID"}],"affiliation":[]}],"titles":[{"title":"Implementation of 360 videos and mobile laser measurement technologies for immersive visualisation of real estate \u0026amp; properties"}],"publisher":"UNSW Sydney","container":{"type":"Series","identifier":"978-0-9871831-7-0","identifierType":"ISBN"},"publicationYear":2018,"subjects":[],"contributors":[{"name":"Do, Khoa","givenName":"Khoa","familyName":"Do","contributorType":"Editor","affiliation":[],"nameIdentifiers":[]},{"name":"Sutrisna, Monty","givenName":"Monty","familyName":"Sutrisna","contributorType":"Editor","affiliation":[],"nameIdentifiers":[]},{"name":"UNSW Sydney","nameType":"Organizational","affiliation":["UNSW Sydney","UNSW Sydney"],"contributorType":"HostingInstitution","nameIdentifiers":[]}],"dates":[{"date":"2018","dateType":"Issued"}],"language":null,"types":{"ris":"CPAPER","bibtex":"article","citeproc":"","schemaOrg":"Article","resourceType":"conference paper","resourceTypeGeneral":"ConferencePaper"},"relatedIdentifiers":[{"relationType":"IsPartOf","relatedIdentifier":"978-0-9871831-7-0","relatedIdentifierType":"ISBN"},{"relationType":"References","relatedIdentifier":"https://www.researchgate.net/publication/329164528_Implementation_of_360_videos_and_mobile_laser_measurement_technologies_for_immersive_visualisation_of_real_estate_properties","relatedIdentifierType":"URL"}],"relatedItems":[],"sizes":[],"formats":[],"version":null,"rightsList":[{"rights":"Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial No Derivatives 4.0 International","rightsUri":"https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/legalcode","schemeUri":"https://spdx.org/licenses/","rightsIdentifier":"cc-by-nc-nd-4.0","rightsIdentifierScheme":"SPDX"}],"descriptions":[{"description":"Virtual and Augmented Realities (VR \u0026amp; AR) are increasingly utilised in construction and Real Estate industries. Due to the absence of immersive visualisation mechanisms that records the construction process and its defects, the clients can only discover any defects after their purchases. Such discoveries portray a negative image of the real estate agencies as some information may deliberately be held to attract customers who later upon the discoveries of such defects regret their purchase decision. To address these issues, this paper aims at developing and idealizing an immersive visualisation mechanism for buildings using VR based technologies to help post construction sales. The in-construction 3D videos, models and visualisations, made available to the buyers, will help them see the construction quality, workmanship and defects in real time to connect to their buildings and increase their purchase confidence. This paper based on field experimentation using 360 cameras, mobile laser measurement and VR gadgets, collects data from a selected building. Overall, the effects of visualisations on construction site management and processes are explored and a concept of using the data for post-construction sales is presented. The discussions may open avenues for new ideas generations, using the in-construction data to enhance real estate and property sales and address post purchase decision regrets by providing more and detailed information to the customers to make informed decisions. The customers can know about the defects and construction quality beforehand whereas sellers can control construction workmanship thus creating a win-win scenario and promoting trust based mutualistic relation.","descriptionType":"Abstract"},{"description":"42nd AUBEA Conference 2018: Educating Building Professionals for the Future in the Globalised World; Singapore; 2018-09-26 - 2018-11-28","descriptionType":"Other"}],"geoLocations":[],"fundingReferences":[],"url":"http://hdl.handle.net/1959.4/unsworks_54580","contentUrl":null,"metadataVersion":6,"schemaVersion":"http://datacite.org/schema/kernel-4","source":"mds","isActive":true,"state":"findable","reason":null,"viewCount":0,"downloadCount":0,"referenceCount":0,"citationCount":0,"partCount":0,"partOfCount":0,"versionCount":0,"versionOfCount":0,"created":"2024-04-15T23:37:30Z","registered":"2024-04-15T23:37:48Z","published":null,"updated":"2026-04-04T02:27:22Z"},"relationships":{"client":{"data":{"id":"unsw.repo","type":"clients"}}}},{"id":"10.26190/unsworks/26650","type":"dois","attributes":{"doi":"10.26190/unsworks/26650","identifiers":[],"creators":[{"name":"Samocha, S","nameType":"Personal","givenName":"S","familyName":"Samocha","affiliation":[],"nameIdentifiers":[]},{"name":"Bruce, A","nameType":"Personal","givenName":"A","familyName":"Bruce","nameIdentifiers":[{"schemeUri":"https://orcid.org","nameIdentifier":"https://orcid.org/0000-0003-1820-4039","nameIdentifierScheme":"ORCID"}],"affiliation":[]},{"name":"MacGill, I","nameType":"Personal","givenName":"I","familyName":"MacGill","nameIdentifiers":[{"schemeUri":"https://orcid.org","nameIdentifier":"https://orcid.org/0000-0002-9587-6835","nameIdentifierScheme":"ORCID"}],"affiliation":[]}],"titles":[{"title":"Generator Revenue in the Australian National Electricity Market with High Renewables and a Synchronous Generation Constraint"}],"publisher":"UNSW Sydney","container":{"type":"Series","identifier":"978 - 0 - 6480414 - 1 - 2","identifierType":"ISBN"},"publicationYear":2017,"subjects":[],"contributors":[{"name":"UNSW Sydney","nameType":"Organizational","affiliation":["UNSW Sydney","UNSW Sydney"],"contributorType":"HostingInstitution","nameIdentifiers":[]}],"dates":[{"date":"2017","dateType":"Issued"}],"language":null,"types":{"ris":"CPAPER","bibtex":"article","citeproc":"","schemaOrg":"Article","resourceType":"conference paper","resourceTypeGeneral":"ConferencePaper"},"relatedIdentifiers":[{"relationType":"IsPartOf","relatedIdentifier":"978 - 0 - 6480414 - 1 - 2","relatedIdentifierType":"ISBN"},{"relationType":"References","relatedIdentifier":"http://apvi.org.au/solar-research-conference/proceedings-apsrc-2017/","relatedIdentifierType":"URL"}],"relatedItems":[],"sizes":[],"formats":[],"version":null,"rightsList":[{"rights":"Creative Commons Attribution Non Commercial No Derivatives 4.0 International","rightsUri":"https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/legalcode","schemeUri":"https://spdx.org/licenses/","rightsIdentifier":"cc-by-nc-nd-4.0","rightsIdentifierScheme":"SPDX"}],"descriptions":[{"description":"Growing policy efforts to reduce fossil fuel related greenhouse gas emissions, along with recent rapid declines in the costs of wind and photovoltaic (PV) renewable generation options, are currently driving major renewables deployment in electricity industries around the world. With no fuel costs, wind and PV have very low short run marginal costs (SRMCs), and in competitive wholesale electricity markets are incentivised to bid their variable and somewhat unpredictable generation output at or near the bottom of the merit order, to ensure being dispatched. The resulting lower wholesale market prices at times of high renewable generation has, of course, implications for market revenues for all generation technologies. Insufficient revenues for renewable technologies, in the absence of external policy measures, will be a disincentive to market entry and hence reduce their uptake, and associated emission reductions. Insufficient revenues for conventional dispatchable plant has the potential to drive longer-term resource inadequacy and system security challenges. Furthermore, wind and PV do not provide inherent inertia to assist in maintaining short-term frequency stability, unlike conventional plant with synchronous generators. A number of electricity industries are imposing minimum synchronous generation constraints on dispatch to ensure sufficient system inertia. This out-of-order dispatch of conventional plant also has implications for wholesale pricing and generator revenues. While high renewables scenarios have been modeled for the Australian National Electricity Market (NEM), most previous studies have focused on the technical feasibility to reliably meet demand with variable renewables, and the overall industry costs. Few studies to date have considered market outcomes such as generator revenues, particularly when considering the implications of transmission constraints and payment for out-of-order dispatch. This study seeks to fill these gaps by exploring impacts on generator revenues from growing wind and PV penetrations in the NEM, including consideration of interconnector constraints and a minimum synchronous generation requirement, using the market modelling tool PLEXOS. Results of the modelling suggest declining wholesale prices and generator revenues with increasing renewables contributions. Depending on market arrangements for out-of-order dispatch, a synchronous generation constraint increases wholesale prices overall, but causes strong curtailments and revenue loss for wind generation, while increasing coal and gas generation and revenues.","descriptionType":"Abstract"},{"description":"Asia Pacific Solar Research Conference; Melbourne; 2017-12-05 - 2017-12-07","descriptionType":"Other"}],"geoLocations":[],"fundingReferences":[],"url":"http://hdl.handle.net/1959.4/unsworks_50774","contentUrl":null,"metadataVersion":2,"schemaVersion":"http://datacite.org/schema/kernel-4","source":"mds","isActive":true,"state":"findable","reason":null,"viewCount":0,"downloadCount":0,"referenceCount":0,"citationCount":0,"partCount":0,"partOfCount":0,"versionCount":0,"versionOfCount":0,"created":"2024-04-15T20:30:22Z","registered":"2024-04-15T20:30:41Z","published":null,"updated":"2026-04-04T02:27:21Z"},"relationships":{"client":{"data":{"id":"unsw.repo","type":"clients"}}}}],"meta":{"total":347265,"totalPages":400,"page":1},"links":{"self":"https://api.datacite.org/dois?query=relatedIdentifiers.relatedIdentifierType%3AISBN","next":"https://api.datacite.org/dois?page%5Bnumber%5D=2\u0026page%5Bsize%5D=25\u0026query=relatedIdentifiers.relatedIdentifierType%3AISBN"}}
