The combination of microsystems with statistical designs, multivariate techniques, and artificial intelligence emerges as a promising alternative to overcome these obstacles. However, establishing scalable protocols in these devices remains a technical and operational challenge. This project aims to fill this gap, using the baculovirus/insect cell platform to produce rabies and Zika virus-like particles (VLPs) as models. The overall objective is to establish protocols for screening, optimization, and scaling in microsystems to define and monitor critical parameters in the upstream and downstream stages. Climate change has a significant impact on worker wellbeing and performance. The tourism industry is spread out in various parts of Australia that are susceptible to floods, tropical cyclones, heatwaves, wildfires, hurricanes, landslides and so on. These hazards impose direct and indirect risks to workers and employees of the hospitality industry. The risks include financial constraints, increased stress, and a lack of job stability. Previous studies have conceptually explored the interrelationship between climate change and wellbeing, but empirical evidence is lacking, particularly in the hospitality sector. The literature review identifies certain gaps and underpinning theories that will support the study. The gaps include evaluating the impact of extreme climate change events, such as tropical cyclones, floods, heat waves, etc, on worker well-being. The proposed study aims to examine the effects of climate change on worker wellbeing while addressing challenges employees face as a byproduct of climate action within the hospitality sector. Understanding these challenges is essential to outline adaptation pathways to make the Australian hospitality sector more resilient to future climatic conditions. The challenges facing the hospitality sector are multifaceted, encompassing rising temperatures, increased frequency of extreme weather events, coastal erosion, biodiversity loss, and water scarcity. These factors collectively pose significant threats to the integrity of tourism assets and infrastructure. It is equally essential to analyse how the industry currently engages in adaptive strategies, such as diversification of tourism products, investment in sustainable infrastructure, seasonal adjustments, and the implementation of early warning systems. However, adaptation initiatives frequently encounter constraints, including limited financial resources, fragmented governance structures, inadequate risk awareness, and a lack of comprehensive long-term strategic planning. Addressing both the direct impacts of climatic challenges and the systemic barriers to effective adaptation is imperative for ensuring a sustainable future for the hospitality sector in Australia. The research methodology will be a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative approaches. Qualitative data will be collected through in-depth interviews, while a questionnaire-based survey will be conducted to collect quantitative data. Study participants will be hospitality workers in Australia, a country already impacted by climate change and with a strong tourism sector. The significance of this research lies in its potential to have a major impact on the well-being of hospitality workers in  Australia. The results of this study will significantly contribute to the existing yet limited body of research regarding the effects of climate change on worker wellbeing within the Australian hospitality industry. It elucidates the physical and psychological repercussions of rising temperatures and extreme weather conditions on employees while systematically examining the adaptations implemented by workplaces in response to these escalating pressures. By emphasizing the wellbeing of workers, the study aspires to facilitate the development of a more sustainable workforce within the Australian hospitality tumores ginecológicos são uma das principais causas de morbidade e mortalidade entre mulheres no mundo. Inclui tumores de ovário, cérvice uterino e endométrio. Em estágios avançados da doença, o tratamento preconizado é de cirurgia citorredutora, seguida de quimioterapia adjuvante com derivado de platina e taxano. Contudo, a eficácia da quimioterapia é limitada devido à ocorrência de efeitos adversos diversos, especialmente neuropatia periférica e hematotoxicidade. Visando diminuir a incidência destas reações, o estudo de variantes genéticas, como variantes de nucleotídeo único (SNVs) vêm sendo ampliado. Porém, a maior parte dos estudos são conduzidos em populações europeias e da américa do norte, que podem apresentar frequências das variantes genéticas diferentes da população brasileira, a qual carece de estudos que demonstrem nossa característica farmacogenômica. Nesta proposta, temos como objetivos realizar avaliação farmacogenômica dos derivados de platina e taxanos, integrada ao gerenciamento da terapia medicamentosa no SUS, traçar um perfil de prevalência e ancestralidade de variantes genéticas relacionados à farmacogenômica nesta população e avaliar a sobrevida das participantes do estudo. Para atingirmos estes objetivos, serão coletados dados clínicos de pacientes atendidas no CAISM (UNICAMP) e de amostras do repositório do INCA; as determinações de SNVs serão realizadas em amostras de DNA genômico obtidos a partir de leucócitos de sangue periférico coletado previamente e identificados através de Microarray (Infinium Global Diversity Array com Enhanced PGx (GDA-PGx). Este microarray permite análise de 1,9 milhão de marcadores, incluindo ancestralidade e mais de 6.000 variantes associadas à Farmacogenética. Os participantes que apresentarem dados conflitantes serão confirmados por Sequenciamento de Nova Geração (NGS), utilizando-se a plataforma MiSeq ou por qPCR, utilizando-se sondas TaqMan.  Os resultados serão apresentados como média ± desvio padrão para variáveis contínuas e como frequências para variáveis categóricas. O equilíbrio de Hardy-Weinberg e teste Qui-quadrado serão aplicados. A comparação das frequências alélicas será avaliada pelo teste exato de Fisher e o nível de significância adotado em todas as análises será de 5% (p\u0026lt;0,05). Diante do cenário epidemiológico em que a cárie dentária permanece como a condição crônica mais prevalente na infância, impactando o desenvolvimento e a qualidade de vida de escolares, o projeto propõe a transposição da Odontologia de Mínima Intervenção (OMI) para a rotina do Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS). O objetivo geral da proposta é implementar e avaliar a efetividade da OMI na rede pública por meio de uma estratégia multisetorial de capacitação e matriciamento, investigando, sob a ótica da Ciência da Implementação, os determinantes de sucesso e sustentabilidade dessas práticas em larga escala frente à heterogeneidade dos cenários municipais. A operacionalização do projeto estrutura-se em cinco eixos temáticos fundamentais: o Eixo 1 (Educação Permanente) foca no desenvolvimento de cursos autoinstrucionais, ambulatórios virtuais e workshops para as Equipes de Saúde Bucal; o Eixo 2 (Material Didático) visa a produção e disseminação de recursos educativos, como o livro “Sorria – Tudo começa pela boca”; o Eixo 3 (Matriciamento Tecnológico) oferece suporte técnico às equipes por meio de Policy Labs e ferramentas digitais; o Eixo 4 (Formação da rede ColaboraSUS) busca fortalecer a parceria entre universidades e centros colaboradores; e o Eixo 5 (Monitoramento e Avaliação) estabelece indicadores para o acompanhamento sistemático das ações. De forma transversal, o projeto realiza um Estudo de Implementação em Larga Escala para avaliar o processo de transposição clínica da OMI. É uma pesquisa de arqueologia histórica e comunitária sobre soberania alimentar, materialidades e linguagens em comunidades do Vale do Ribeira e da área Peruíbe-Itanhaém. A temática surgiu de interesses das comunidades em evidenciar, fortalecer e resgatar práticas tradicionais. A proposta é estabelecer novas interpretações sobre estratégias de persistência que estão sendo comparadas com práticas similares de duas comunidades do Equador e dos Estados Unidos, ampliando um debate internacional em andamento, realizado pela proponente, pelos pesquisadores e representantes das comunidades referidas. Sobre as interações em São Paulo, existe vasta quantidade de informações pouco investigadas na arqueologia, com potencial para revelar novas perspectivas sobre saberes ancestrais, transmissão de conhecimentos intergeracionais, agência e sociabilidades. A pesquisa terá abordagem interdisciplinar na análise de dados de arqueologia, história oral, genealogia, linguística histórica, arte, geociências, análise de isótopos e lipídios, dividida em cinco eixos de investigação: 1) redes de parentesco e afinidade; 2) ecologias de sustentabilidade; 3) mapeamento participativo; 4) memória histórica; 5) comparação de persistências femininas com outros lugares do continente. This preventive effect is grounded in the concept of cognitive reserve, according to which education builds compensatory capacities capable of delaying the clinical expression of dementia. Building on this premise, the literature demonstrates, through randomised controlled trials (RCTs), that structured cognitive stimulation programmes promote cognitive reserve, however, such trials do not always reveal the processes that underlie the causal relationship. To address this gap, the Medical Research Council (MRC) Framework indicates that process evaluation integrated within an RCT can render objective findings transferable to real-world settings. The use of qualitative and ethnographic techniques in process evaluation further produces data of greater validity by capturing behaviour in naturalistic contexts, situates data within their sociocultural contexts in a holistic manner, and constructs theory iteratively, answering how, why, for whom, and under what conditions RCTs produce effects. Accordingly, this study seeks to conduct an ethnographic process evaluation to understand how an ongoing RCT of a multicomponent cognitive stimulation programme (2026–2029) is implemented and experienced by older adults with low educational attainment in Ermelino Matarazzo, São Paulo (SP), and which mechanisms account for the effects observed in the RCT. Participants will include older adults from both intervention and control groups, as well as those who withdraw from the study, research staff, and community leaders. Qualitative techniques, including in-depth interviews, focus groups, observations, shadowing, document analysis, and territorial mapping in Ermelino Matarazzo through ethnographic field visits. will constitute the primary sources of data. Qualitative analysis will follow an iterative analytical-interpretive strategy, triangulated with quantitative data from the RCT (cognition and psychosocial variables) and interpreted within pragmatic contexts of social vulnerability. While language technologies are often proposed as tools for revitalization, they are typically grounded in Western assumptions about language as text-centric, individual, and able to be separated from context. In contrast, Mvskoke language and knowledge are transmitted through relational, multimodal, and culturally situated practices, including oral, performative, and embodied forms. This project adopts a community-engaged, Indigenous-led design approach that positions Mvskoke community members as knowledge holders and co-designers of technology.  The methodology for this study builds on a Mvskoke framework for futurity. It begins with listening to community stories to surface values and priorities, followed by group workshops where community members collaboratively imagine technologies aligned with those values. Emerging ideas are developed into small prototypes and introduced into the community, where their use (or “misuse”) offers insight into what kinds of tools best support knowledge production and cultural flourishing. The study includes ongoing analysis of the risks, benefits, and sustainability of these technologies. O Programa visa reconhecer Cozinhas Solidárias (CS) que têm como missão fornecer alimentação gratuita e de qualidade à população, priorizando populações vulnerabilizadas, incluindo pessoas em situação de rua. Esse contexto ressalta a importância de desenvolver e implementar ações concretas para manutenção e aprimoramento da operação e infraestrutura desses espaços. Objetivo: Este trabalho visa mapear e caracterizar as CS no Brasil quanto a aspectos estruturais, operacionais e de gestão, analisando sua distribuição geoespacial em interface com a vulnerabilidade social municipal e difundindo evidências que subsidiem o aprimoramento de políticas públicas. Metodologia: Estudo quantitativo, transversal, com dados secundários do MDS (2023). Dos 2.466 registros do cadastro nacional, 1.655 cozinhas solidárias em funcionamento foram analisadas segundo aspectos estruturais, de gestão e territoriais. Realizou-se padronização territorial e pareamento com o Índice de Vulnerabilidade Social (IVS) (IPEA, 2015), com análise geoespacial segundo as regiões do IBGE. Estimaram-se correlações entre densidade de cozinhas e IVS (Spearman regional; Pearson estadual) e aplicou-se teste de Mann-Whitney para comparação entre capitais e não capitais. A partir dos resultados do estudo, foi elaborado um policy brief que seguiu as diretrizes e worksheet propostos pelo Centro Internacional para Defesa de Políticas. Resultados: As 1.655 cozinhas concentram-se no Nordeste (33,8%) e Sudeste (33,4%), com menor presença no Norte (3,9%) e Centro-Oeste (5,6%). Observou-se concentração em capitais e regiões metropolitanas, enquanto municípios com IVS alto ou muito alto frequentemente não apresentaram unidades cadastradas. Mais de 50% das cozinhas relataram ausência de infraestrutura de informática; no Norte e Nordeste, cerca de 20% não possuíam refrigerador. Apenas 8,7% recebiam alimentos do PAA. Identificou-se correlação negativa moderada entre densidade regional de cozinhas e IVS (ρ = -0,4743) e correlação fraca em nível estadual (r = -0,0884). Houve diferença significativa entre capitais e não capitais (p \u0026lt; 0,001), evidenciando concentração urbana. Estes resultados podem subsidiar a formulação de políticas públicas para garantia do DHAA nos territórios vulnerabilizados e de um modelo intersetorial em rede que apoie as CS. Para a elaboração deste estudo, serão empregadas as metodologias de pesquisa documental e bibliográfica, segundo as perspectivas exploratória e descritiva, fundamentadas em uma abordagem qualitativa. Além disso, serão mobilizados para análise dos resultados autores que enfrentam os temas: cinema e história, práticas educativas, filmes documentários, educação e cinema e linguagem cinematográfica. Embora se trate de um filme reconhecido e dedicado a fato recente da história brasileira, a revisão sistemática de literatura realizada revelou escassa apropriação dele pelo campo educacional. The study will explore the experiences of three key stakeholder groups (applicants, academic staff, and administrative staff) to assess the fairness, accessibility, and efficiency of this innovative selection method compared with traditional synchronous or face-to-face interviews. Using a mixed-methods design, data will be collected via anonymous online surveys and optional semi-structured interviews. Additional anonymised system data will be provided by Vieple (Testgrid), the secure video interview platform used to host candidate recordings. An external representative from the Heads of Psychology Australia (HPA) will independently coordinate recruitment and data collection for CDU staff and accepted students to ensure impartiality. Findings will inform improvements to CDU’s admissions processes and contribute to national discussions about developing a centralised and equitable postgraduate admissions model across Australian universities. Neste sentido, o monitoramento ambiental se dá não somente enquanto imperativo jurídico, mas como instrumento de gestão com foco na proteção dos recursos hídricos. Na dimensão técnica do manejo ambiental de propriedades rurais leiteiras, a aplicação de ferramentas de diagnóstico constitui relevante estratégia de mapeamento de riscos ambientais. Não obstante, a inserção de sujeitos em processo de avaliação dos espaços de produção no campo torna-se fundamental não somente pela sua relevância em caráter de efetividade, mas por tratar da humanização daqueles mesmos espaços e estabelecer um fluxo de diálogo verdadeiro entre os sujeitos em interação. Vez que constitui ação e reflexão, este diálogo mesmo é instrumento de transformação do espaço rural. Sendo assim, este trabalho teve como objetivo explorar as interações entre as condições sociodemográficas e percepções de produtores rurais, as características produtivas e a adoção de técnicas de manejo hídrico e de resíduos orgânicos agropecuários em propriedades rurais de bovinocultura leiteira do município de Tupã, São Paulo, Brasil. Para tanto, foi adotado um delineamento de estudo de casos múltiplos cuja coleta de dados consistiu na associação dos seguintes instrumentos: (i) observação direta sistemática, focada no diagnóstico da aplicação de técnicas de manejo hídrico e de dejetos; (ii) formulário de caracterização sociodemográfica e produtiva; (iii) formulário de mapeamento das atitudes de produtores rurais frente às técnicas de manejo hídrico e de dejetos; (iv) entrevista semiestruturada para a exploração de objetivos, desafios e percepções sobre temas ligados às práticas e tecnologias de manejo hídrico; (v) observação de campo como instrumento auxiliar para a compreensão da organização produtiva das unidades. Os dados quantitativos foram tratados por meio de análise descritiva. Os dados qualitativos foram submetidos a análise dialógica de discurso. Sendo o manejo hídrico e de dejetos um conjunto de ações a serem adotadas de forma cotidiana, assumimos que, em um cenário de dinâmicas estruturais, reverberações locais sobre as condições laborais, as lógicas de produção e de busca por autonomia atravessam os processos decisórios das unidades investigadas, impactando as posições relativas que cada prática ou tecnologia ocupa em seus mecanismos de organização produtiva. In Brazil, the sector generates R$ 52.9 billion annually, making it a strategic sector for domestic tourism. However, there is an underutilization of digital engagement for conversion into real tourist flows, aggravated by a lack of logistical integration and the absence of predictive models to assist in the management of smart destinations. Given this scenario, this research project seeks to answer how the application of models based on Big Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) can optimize fan engagement and enhance the effectiveness of tourism in Brazilian soccer. The objective of this project is to create a predictive model, based on Machine Learning algorithms and statistical models, to analyze the determinants of engagement and its socioeconomic impact on host cities. The methodology adopts a hybrid approach: initially qualitative, to identify typologies of fan-tourist behavior, followed by a descriptive-explanatory quantitative stage. For data modeling, Ensemble Learning algorithms such as Random Forest and XGBoost will be used to classify clusters of tourism propensity and predict variables of economic impact, such as average ticket price and length of stay. Partindo de dados demográficos recentes que indicam o crescimento dessa população, a pesquisa busca suprir a lacuna de informações sobre suas formas de circulação, sociabilidade e ocupação do espaço urbano, especialmente no que diz respeito às diferenças entre indígenas vinculados à Universidade Estadual de Campinas (Unicamp) e aqueles que não possuem relação com a instituição. A pesquisa adota uma abordagem etnográfica, inspirada no diálogo entre a antropologia urbana e a etnologia indígena, mobilizando categorias como trajeto e circuito para analisar os modos de presença indígena na cidade. Serão realizadas observação participante, entrevistas e acompanhamento de trajetos, além da construção de cartografias analíticas que permitam mapear redes de relações e fluxos materiais e imateriais que conectam Campinas a outras regiões do país. Ao focalizar trajetórias individuais e coletivas, com destaque para lideranças indígenas atuantes no município, o estudo busca compreender como a cidade é (re)significada a partir de perspectivas indígenas, evidenciando processos de territorialização que desafiam dicotomias entre aldeia e espaço urbano. No estado de São Paulo, embora um número considerável de espécies já tenha sido registrado, o conhecimento sobre a diversidade, distribuição geográfica e estágios imaturos desses insetos ainda apresenta importantes lacunas, conhecidas como déficits Linneano, Wallaceano e Haeckeliano. Este projeto tem como objetivo realizar um estudo taxonômico integrativo com adultos e larvas de Trichoptera no estado de São Paulo, combinando dados morfológicos e moleculares. O estudo utilizará material depositado em coleções científicas e novos espécimes coletados em rios e córregos dos biomas Cerrado e Mata Atlântica. Serão realizadas descrições de espécies novas, redescrições de espécies com taxonomia imprecisa, associações entre larvas e adultos por meio de morfologia e DNA barcoding, além da elaboração de mapas de distribuição e listas atualizadas das espécies do estado. Mild tics often do not cause functional impairment and tend to follow a benign natural course, so treatment is usually not necessary. However, when tics cause socially, physically, or emotionally significant impairment, pharmacologic treatment may be considered. Because of this generally benign course and the largely non-harmful nature of tics, pharmacological treatments have not been extensively studied in children. Multiple pharmacologic interventions have been tried, but their relative efficacy in pediatric populations remains unclear, and clinicians often rely on experience when selecting treatments. While previous systematic reviews have included both pediatric and adult patients, this review will focus exclusively on children and adolescents. This systematic review and meta-analysis aims to synthesize evidence from randomized controlled trials assessing pharmacologic interventions for pediatric tic disorders. Pooled estimates will be calculated using change-from-baseline scores, with standard deviations derived from reported standard errors when necessary. Subgroup analyses will explore motor and vocal tic outcomes where data permit. Este trabalho propõe uma Pesquisa Comparada entre o Brasil e a Argentina, que permite a análise de diferentes instituições - particularmente o judiciário, o poder legislativo e a mídia - e de suas capacidades de limitação da ação presidencial que vise o aumento de seus poderes e ameace a democracia através de uma metodologia mista.
