Consequently, chronic training adaptations under these conditions are often expected to be suboptimal compared with the same training sessions performed in the fed state. Results This narrative review (supported by a systematic search for Ramadan training-adaptation studies and methodological quality assessment), in contrast, examines whether chronic training in the Ramadan-fasted state may preserve, impair, or in selected contexts possibly augment training-induced adaptations. This premise is informed by adjacent evidence indicating that training in the fasted state has been associated with enhanced training-induced adaptations via greater activation of mitochondrial biogenesis and resulting in higher levels of metabolic enzymes for glycolysis, oxidative phosphorylation, and overall metabolic capacity (in non-Ramadan fasted or carbohydrate-restricted models). Similarly, evidence from adjacent non-Ramadan models suggests that training in a permissive (mild) dehydrated state vis-à-vis Ramadan fasting may promote positive adaptations via enhanced plasma volume expansion and greater thermoregulatory-physiological response during exercise. The systematic search identified 10 eligible studies, of which six were rated as strong methodological quality and four as moderate quality. Based on these studies, the proposed efficacy of Ramadan-fasted training-induced adaptations remains speculative, although Ramadan-specific studies have reported either improved or preserved training-induced performance outcomes within Ramadan-fasted groups. Compared to non-fasted and fed-state training, there appears to be some support for greater aerobic adaptation in Ramadan-fasted training specifically for middle distance running and running capacity assessed via time-to-exhaustion. Conclusions In summary, we postulate that training sessions performed in the Ramadan-fasted state, while acutely ergolytic, may not necessarily blunt chronic adaptation when training load, recovery opportunity, and post-exercise nutrition and hydration are well managed. However, the available evidence is limited, heterogeneous, and methodologically constrained. d'analyser et de démontrer l'efficacité de l'intégration d'approches affectives et cognitives-perceptuelles à travers des jeux de possession « Rondo » (caractérisés par des variations géométriques, des règles complexes et des contraintes cognitives spécifiques) afin de promouvoir un développement global et supérieur du footballeur moderne, en optimisant simultanément ses habiletés motrices, ses compétences technico-tactiques, ses fonctions exécutives (mémoire, attention, créativité, flexibilité cognitive) et ses réponses psychophysiologiques (charge physique, gestion du stress, plaisir perçu).\n\nÉtude 1 : Amélioration de la résolution de problèmes et de la pensée créative (Joueurs U-13)\n\nObjectif : Évaluer l'impact des jeux de possession Rondo à règles complexes et formes géométriques variables sur la pensée créative et la résolution de problèmes chez les footballeurs U-13.\n\nMéthodologie : Essai contrôlé randomisé sur huit semaines avec vingt-quatre participants répartis en un groupe d'entraînement et un groupe contrôle évalués via le test de Torrance et l'inventaire PSI.\n\nRésultats : L'abstraction du titre augmente de +227%, l'originalité verbale progresse de +88,1%, l'élaboration graphique augmente de +83,7%, la fluidité verbale augmente de +77,2%, l'originalité graphique s'élève de +45,9%, la flexibilité verbale gagne +32,9%, la résistance à la clôture s'améliore de +22,6%, la fluidité graphique augmente de +19,1%, le contrôle personnel s'améliore avec une baisse du score négatif de -29,9%, la confiance en résolution de problèmes s'améliore avec une baisse du score négatif de -26% et le style approche-évitement s'améliore avec une réduction de -12,4%.\n\nConclusion : L'intégration de rondos complexes et géométriques développe de manière optimale l'intelligence de jeu et la flexibilité cognitive des jeunes joueurs.\n\nÉtude 2 : Développement des performances attentionnels et mémorielles (Rondo en double forme)\n\nObjectif : Déterminer l’impact spécifique d'un programme de Rondo positionnel en double forme sur la mémoire et l'attention sélective des joueurs.\n\nMéthodologie : Protocole expérimental de six semaines comparant un groupe Rondo positionnel en double forme à un groupe témoin à travers des tests de discrimination visuelle et le test de mémoire de Rey.\n\nRésultats : Le traitement visuo-perceptif progresse de +34,2%, la discrimination visuelle augmente de +28,5%, l'attention sélective visuelle s'améliore de +31,1%, la rétention en mémoire verbale à court terme s'élève de +22,1% et la mémoire verbale à long terme gagne +19,7% en faveur de groupe qui participent aux entraînements des jeux de possession Rondo.\n\nConclusion : Le défi cognitif accru par la double forme géométrique stimule efficacement la mémoire de travail et l’attention sélective en situation de pression.\n\n Étude 3 : Effet comparatif des Rondos (RPG) et des Jeux à Effectif Réduit (SSG)\n\nObjectif : Comparer l'impact des jeux de possession Rondo et des jeux réduits classiques sur les réponses affectives et les comportements cognitifs de footballeurs d'élite.\n\nMéthodologie : Programme d'entraînement étalé sur douze séances évaluant séparément un groupe de jeux de possession et un groupe de jeux réduits à l'aide de l'échelle d'humeur BRUMS et de l'échelle de plaisir PACES.\n\nRésultats : Le score de plaisir physique perçu augmente de +41,3%, la flexibilité cognitive s'améliore de +31,4%, la vitesse de prise de décision s'accélère de +25,8% tandis que les scores d'humeur négative comme la fatigue ou l'anxiété diminuent de -18,4% en faveur de groupe RPGs.\n\nConclusion : Les jeux de possession Rondo offrent un meilleur compromis entre engagement émotionnel positif et sollicitation des fonctions exécutives par rapport aux jeux réduits traditionnels.\n\nÉtude 4 : Impact des Rondos à règles cognitives spécifiques (RECR vs RESR)\n\nObjectif : Analyser l'impact de Rondos conçus avec des contraintes cognitives spécifiques sur la charge physique externe, la tactique et les compétences mentales.\n\nMéthodologie : Suivi par GPS Catapult de seize joueurs d'élite lors de quatre matchs successifs en format de grand jeu comparant le Rondo avec règles cognitives au Rondo avec règles simples.\n\nRésultats :La distance totale parcourue augmente de +14,5%, la distance parcourue à haute intensité s'élève de +22,3%, le nombre de sprints progresse de +18,6%, le volume de jeu tactique s'accroît de +35,2%, l'indice d'efficacité technico-tactique augmente de +29,1% et le score de performance mentale globale se développe de +26,4% en faveur de groupe RECR.\n\nConclusion : L'introduction de contraintes de réflexion augmente simultanément l'intensity physique externe et la performance technico-tactique collective en match réel.\n\nÉtude 5 : Développement et validation psychométrique de l'échelle CFISS\n\nObjectif : Développer et valider l'Échelle de Flexibilité Cognitive dans le Sport pour mesurer l'adaptabilité décisionnelle, la concentration et la résilience des athlètes.\n\nMéthodologie : Analyses factorielles exploratoires et confirmatoires évaluant la fidélité, la cohérence interne par l'alpha de Cronbach et les corrélations avec la pleine conscience.\n\nRésultats : L'indice de cohérence interne globale de l'outil est excellent avec un alpha de Cronbach atteignant spécifiquement 0,86 pour le facteur de prise de décision, un alpha de 0,82 pour le facteur de concentration et un alpha de 0,84 pour le facteur de résilience mentale.\n\nConclusion : cognitives spécifiques sur la charge physique externe, la tactique et les compétences mentales.\n\nMéthodologie : Suivi par GPS Catapult de seize joueurs d'élite lors de quatre matchs successifs en format de grand jeu comparant le Rondo avec règles cognitives au Rondo avec règles simples.\n\nRésultats :La distance totale parcourue augmente de +14,5%, la distance parcourue à haute intensité s'élève de +22,3%, le nombre de sprints progresse de +18,6%, le volume de jeu tactique s'accroît de +35,2%, l'indice d'efficacité technico-tactique augmente de +29,1% et le score de performance mentale globale se développe de +26,4% en faveur de groupe RECR.\n\nConclusion : L'introduction de contraintes de réflexion augmente simultanément l'intensity physique externe et la performance technico-tactique collective en match réel.\n\nÉtude 5 : Développement et validation psychométrique de l'échelle CFISS\n\nObjectif : Développer et valider l'Échelle de Flexibilité Cognitive dans le Sport pour mesurer l'adaptabilité décisionnelle, la concentration et la résilience des athlètes.\n\nMéthodologie : Analyses factorielles exploratoires et confirmatoires évaluant la fidélité, la cohérence interne par l'alpha de Cronbach et les corrélations avec la pleine conscience.\n\nRésultats : L'indice de cohérence interne globale de l'outil est excellent avec un alpha de Cronbach atteignant spécifiquement 0,86 pour le facteur de prise de décision, un alpha de 0,82 pour le facteur de concentration et un alpha de 0,84 pour le facteur de résilience mentale.\n\nConclusion :
