This data set contains shape files of several soil properties for the Auzon catchment (Ardèche French catchment).<br />
This includes: clay content (%), sand content (%), silt content (%, stones fraction (%), average soil depth (m), average maximum storage capacity (mm).<br />
The data contains information of the soil surface horizon (clay, sand, silt,stones) or from the whole soil profile (depth, max storage capacity).<br />

Observing strategy: <br />
These data can be used to derive soil properties using pedo-transfer functions for use in a model.<br />
In the present .shp file some values are provided that were computed using Rawls and Brackensick (1985) pedo-transfer function (see Manus et al.? 2009, Bonnet, 2012)
