Problématique de la gestion des ressources en eau au Maroc méditerranéen
<div>Problematic of water resources management in the Mediterranean Morocco. The North of Morocco is characterized by a Mediterranean climate with very dry years and rainy ones. Watersheds have a small extents and represented essentially by wadis with a seasonal regime. The climate erosive-capacity observed in the Mediterranean Morocco is among the most elevated in the country. Water tables are rare in the study area because of predominance of the facies impermeability. According to the principals agglomerations, the drinking-water demand has increased with 50 % in a 10years period, due to population growth, urbanism and seaside tourism. Untreated urban wastewater, discharged in natural habitat or reused in irrigation, represent the main factor of downstream pollution of Martil, Mghogha, Lihoud and Souani wadis in the West and Isly, Cherra and Moulouya in the Est. ln addition to the technical aspect, water-resources management in the study area integrated also the social, political, economical and strategie aspects. Although the Moroccan legal texts on water management has been actualised with water law nOIO-95, Its application would constitute a major challenge for the concerned institutions.</div>
