At the beginning of May 2020, when the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, with the increase in the number of people infected by the virus and the number of deaths, began to impact Brazilian society and curb economic activity, it became evident the need to think about measures of reversing the virulence of the crisis that was taking place, but also ways of, when acting against the crisis, already inducing its overcoming in new patterns of social coexistence. The text that we present contains eight suggestions aimed at opening a dialogue on such proposals, so that the social level of resumption of activities would already be guided by ethical-political, economic and social standards of lesser social inequality and reinforcement of democratic practices.
