<p>This study aimed to explore the role of total quality management (TQM) in educational programs of first grade high schools in Karaj city. The target population included all high school teachers of the academic year 2015-2016. Sample population of 324 persons was selected by random cluster sampling. A questionnaire was used to measure the variables in the study. Content validity of the questionnaire was confirmed by experts. The reliability of the questionnaire was estimated to be 0.89 by Cronbach's alpha coefficient. T-test was used to analyze the data. The results showed that TQM and each of its dimensions affect the effectiveness of training programs and courses in junior high schools in the city of Karaj.</p>
