Presented at the March 2016 meeting of the State System of Higher Education Library Cooperative Organization at Shippensburg University, PA.
89 slides.
Web presentation session on implementation of the Alma system. The presenter will describe her library’s experience with the migration from Voyager in early 2015—what went wrong, what went well—and offer advice on what to prepare for, what to watch out for, what not to do, questions to ask, etc. as well as describe differences between Voyager and Alma in Circulation, Acquisitions, Cataloging, and Administration modules (formerly SysAdmin in Voyager) that will affect/drive data cleanup (e.g., the conversion of ILS-managed electronic resources, Circulation simplification, Duplicate bib and other catalog cleanup). The focus of this presentation will be how to maximize your migration success during pre-implementation and implementation.
