In the final qualification work, the problem of ensuring environmental safe-ty in seaports in case of emergency oil spills is considered. Tasks that were solved during the research: 1. Analysis of the legal framework in the field of environmental safety regu-lation, statistics of emergency spills and the causes of their occurrence. 2. Development of a methodology for assessing the spread of the Strait spot and assessing the area of water pollution. 3. Development of measures to prevent, localize and liquidate oil spills in seaports. In this work, we conducted a static analysis of emergency spills and their causes, analysis of the physical basis for the spread of oil and petroleum prod-ucts on the water surface, and a General typical characteristic of a seaport. The analysis of methods for calculating the spread of the spill spot and further calcu-lation of changes in the radius of the oil spill spot was carried out. Development of measures to eliminate and prevent oil spills in seaports.
