We here report the migration position of hemoglobin (Hb) variants prevalent in China determined by CE. The CE migration position showed excellent precision and minor inter-individual variation. We conclude that the CE migration position can be used as a reliable indicator for identifying Hb variants and can also help to establish a well-characterized library of Hb variants for their refined presumptive
