Acquired Data:



Data for noise estimation were recorded for 20 seconds during both shutdown and startup conditions.

For the healthy condition, data were recorded twice, each for 60 seconds.

Healthy condition data were collected at frequencies of 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 Hz.

During healthy condition measurements, the shaft had a misalignment of 0.02 mm in both the Z and Y directions.

The data acquisition frequency was 10,000 Hz (ten thousand samples per second).


Faulty Data:      Data were collected for three fault categories: unbalance fault, outer race fault, and ball fault.

1. Unbalanced Fault



Unbalanced fault data were recorded at frequencies of 10 Hz and 30 Hz.

Disk labels range from 1, representing the largest disk, to 6, representing the smallest disk.

The data files follow the naming convention: Acquisition_un_[disk label]_Hz


    1.1  Combined Unbalanced            In this case, unbalance was applied to disk 1 and disk 4.

2. Outer Race Fault

    2.1  Defective bearing mounted in place of the third bearing

            Recorded at two frequencies: 10 Hz and 30 Hz.

            Recorded at two frequencies: 10 Hz and 30 Hz.
