Background

On May 21, 2026, ELGabry et al. published an ambient vibration study of the Great Pyramid of Khufu in Scientific Reports (Vol. 16, Article 14032), using 37 accelerometers distributed throughout the pyramid's internal chambers,construction blocks, and adjacent soil. The study found exceptional dynamic homogeneity — uniform fundamental frequencies of 2.0-2.6 Hz averaging 2.3 Hz across 76% of all structural elements. The author of the Bio-Lithic HybridModel identified a cross-field connection between this finding and the casting hypothesis on the date of publication and incorporated it into the manuscript.

Original Inference — Now Corrected

ORIGINAL (OVERSTATED) CLAIM: 'The exceptional homogeneity the ELGabry team found is the acoustic signature of a material that was not individually quarried. It is the acoustic signature of a material that was made.' ALSO: Themeasurement point Mp.7 (exterior stone in front of Al-Ma'mun's passage, reading 0.8 Hz) was initially interpreted as potentially reflecting a material boundary between cast infill and quarried anchor block.

Basis for Correction

The ELGabry team responded directly to the author's inquiry on May 21, 2026. Their clarifications were as follows:

1. The homogeneity finding is attributed by the authors to the pyramid's overall geometry, balanced mass distribution,high-quality construction, and solid bedrock foundation — not to material consistency at the unit level. Both explanations predict uniform frequency; they are not distinguishable by frequency measurement alone.

2. The Mp.7 anomalous reading (0.8 Hz) is attributable to local structural discontinuity caused by the Al-Ma'mun tunneling and subsequent repairs — not a material boundary. No systematic fracturing linked to Mp.7 was observed.

3. Frequency variations were more pronounced in modified or damaged zones (historical stone removal, later interventions) while the original structural body read uniformly.

Corrected Position

CORRECTED POSITION: The exceptional dynamic homogeneity found by ELGabry et al. is consistent with what the Bio-Lithic casting model predicts, but it is also consistent with the authors' own geometric and mass-distribution explanation. Both explanations predict uniform frequency. They are not distinguishable by frequency measurement alone. The test that would distinguish them is not frequency analysis but biological chemical signature detection in the stone matrix — MICP bacterial byproducts, phosphate zones at grain boundaries, and EPS organic residue. If present, the frequency homogeneity has an explanation that compressive consolidation cannot provide. That test has not been run. The Mp.7 speculation has been removed from the manuscript entirely. The ELGabry team's clarification that frequency variations are more pronounced in modified zones (interventions) while the original structural body reads uniformly is noted as a useful refinement: the homogeneity finding is specific to original construction material, which strengthens rather than weakens the casting interpretation.

Additional Observation from the ELGabry Data

The amplification data in ELGabry et al. Table 1 shows a pattern consistent with the Bio-Lithic manuscript's three-axis structural convergence argument: amplification increases systematically from ground level (1.0) to King's Chamberelevation (4.0), then drops in the relieving chambers above (3.0) despite greater elevation. Amplification normally increases with height. The drop above the King's Chamber is consistent with a structural convergence point where load paths have resolved — the balloon squeeze analogy described in the manuscript. This observation has beencommunicated to the ELGabry team as a potential direction for future geometric analysis.
